Lyrics
Crossing state lines
And I’m making you wait
I’m driving all night
And getting in late
Then we’re Holding hands at the truck stop denny’s and
Sharing fries cause you got too many
If this is love then i might be ready
Never really get this far
I’m used to putting miles on the getaway car
Running away
But you make me wanna save a dance and settle down
Making plans eight months from now
For your next birthday
I’m closing my eyes in the bed that we made
You got a pretty little heart that I never could break
Then we’re all alone and it feels like heaven
Cause I’ve been thinking bout you 24/7
If this is love then I think I finally get it, get it, get it, get it
Never really get this far
I’m used to putting miles on the getaway car
Running away
But you make me wanna save a dance and settle down
Making plans eight months from now
For your next birthday
