Artist Bio At an early age, Washington DC-based Yung Bout Dat was influenced by relatives and local GoGo music throughout the DMV. Yung Bout Dat began rapping at the age of 8, and when he was 16, he recorded his first song titled "DC Boy". It was then that he knew he wanted to pursue a career in music. To date, Yung Bout Dat has accumulated multiple awards for his music. In July 2014, he was given The "Grind Award" by La Caja Ent, and in 2016, he was awarded the Future of the DMV Award at the 2016 DMV Undaground Awards. Yung Bout Dat is an advocate for giving back to his community. He participates in youth events, taking the lead on numerous Samaritan projects (food drives, coat drives, toy drives, providing haircuts, hair stylists and makeup artists for prom, and back-to-school drives). Yung Bout Dat continues to perform, host, and create music on his journey to success.
